First up is a beautiful Yamaha Custom EX2 alto. This was the first EX sold in the US and is a stunning instrument with a couple of interesting modifications. All original touch materials have been replaced with better materials such as ultra suede and teflon, the octave rocker key has been replaced with a MusicMedic custom rocker that’s adjustable and eliminates lost motion in the octave key. There is nothing smoother. The original neck screw has been replaced with a custom heavy mass stainless steel one made by Yamaha designer Jeff Peterson himself, and the horn sports black lacquer touches on all key guards and neck key, making it a truly unique instrument. It comes with a new Custom leather saxophone case. This is simply one of the best saxophones I have ever played. We are asking $4200 for this instrument.
